Heartsaver Pediatric courses provide anyone with little or no medical training information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives

This is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Participants learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.  

AHA requires access to the current course textbook manual before, during, and after the class. The course manual (in either eBook or hard copy print format) can be purchased at the following website link(s):

Upon successful completion of this course, participants receive an American Heart Association Course Completion eCard that is valid for two years.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you must cancel a "face to face" class that you have registered for, your cancellation notification must be received by email to ccattolica@napavalley.edu 48-hours prior to the class date and start time. If your notification is received 48-hours prior to the class date and start time, you will be able to reschedule your attendance at a future class at no additional charge. If you would like to request a refund, you will have up to 72-hours prior to the class date and start time to do so. Please note:  If you are a 'no show' at the scheduled class that you have registered for, this will result in your ineligibility to reschedule for a future class at no additional charge or to receive a refund for that particular class. You will be able to register for a future class and pay the full costs of that class. We reserve the right to cancel a class at any time for unforeseen circumstances.
